With constant attention to the evolution of technology and clinical needs, Lumax 3 & 5 are born to meet the needs of its user granting optimal performances, reliability and visual comfort. They deliver excellent light quality. The special optics of its LEDs generate shadowless, clear and homogeneous light assuring visual comfort and best working conditions for the surgeon and the medical staff.
Features of Lumax 3 & 5
- Clearness: The adjustable color temperature, improved color rendering index, and wide-range light spot ensure a clearer visualization of the surgical field.
- Convenience: The incorporation of an integrated control panel and multifunctional handle facilitates the adjustment of surgical light parameters.
- Durability: The 70,000-hour service life of LEDs proves the cost-effectiveness of Lumax 3 & 5.
- Sterilization: Optimized shape and antimicrobial coating meet the needs of sterilization management.
- Safety: Modularized circuit management ensures each part works independently, which provides a strong backup for consistent illumination and ensures patients‘ safety.
- Adaptability: High-definition video solutions meet the needs of modern digital ORs.
Powerful Features
Lumax 5 has 160 LEDs. Lumax 3 has 80 LEDs. This layout ensures an even and full illumination with no dim spots. The multi-lens structure delivers light spot with a diameter up to 360 mm and a depth of illumination up to 1950 mm. Tunable color temperature guarantees a clearer view of the surgical site during surgical procedures. Enhanced color rendering index assists the surgeon to distinguish the different blood vessels during surgery. Wide-range light spot makes it suitable for varial size and shape incisions and also provides an effective way to reduce the glare from the area around the surgical field and prevent surgeons from eye strain.
With a patented adjustment electronic program, Lumax 3 & 5 shows consistent performance. The integrated control panel with an advanced microprocessor allows 10-level adjustment of the parameters. The multifunctional handle provides another convenient way to adjust brightness, color temperature, and spot size.
The Lumax 5 model is equipped with 160 LEDs, organized into 20 distinct modules, while the Lumax 3 features 80 LEDs distributed across 10 separate modules. The modular circuit management system guarantees that each component operates independently, thereby providing robust support for consistent illumination and ensuring patient safety.
The ultra-thin and streamlined light head contributes to low airflow resistance. It keeps air circulating above the surgical wound area and reduces the risk of surgical site infection caused by falling airborne bacteria. The anti-static coating of the light screen prevents dust and floating particles from leaving on the surface, which makes it easy to clean. The sterilizable handle is capable of withstanding sterilization at a temperature of 134 °C.
The Lumax 3 & 5 also offers high-definition video solutions for recording surgical procedures, transmitting videos for remote consultations, and providing video-based teaching. It effectively caters to the requirements of modern digital operating rooms.
