SternMed GmbH is a growing medical technology company based in Ravensburg. We are committed to manufacturing and distributing a wide range of affordable German quality medical equipment globally while offering long-term commitment and local local support. We are a supplier of diagnostic imaging equipment (X-Ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT), OR solutions (operating tables and lights, anesthesia machines, RF surgery devices) and patient care (patient monitors, ventilators, medical pumps).

We are looking for a dedicated Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of medical technology.

Your tasks

  • Support for development projects
  • SOP, FMEA, Design Validation and Verification
  • Creation of assemblies and technical drawings using CAD (Solid Works)
  • Support in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (CE conformity files) and product information

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of medical technology, mechanical engineering or comparabletechnical field
  • Preferably 3 years of professional experience
  • Professional experience in the development of medical devices is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of CAD systems (especially Solid Works)
  • Preferably knowledge of the maintenance and reconditioning of medical instruments
  • Knowledge of the relevant materials and their manufacturing processes is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Result-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
